A Brief History

Lanners Construction was started by James Lanners in the 1970s. James then sold the company to his brothers Jack and Bob in the 80s who changed the name to Lanners Brothers Construction. James' son Galen bought the company and continued to run it until passing away in 2023 after a courageous fight with cancer. Galen was known throughout the region as knowledgeable, hardworking, and dedicated to his family and his customers.

In beginning this journey, we learned that James actually worked here at Thorstad Construction prior to branching out on his own!

Management of Lanners Brothers Construction

Thorstad Construction took over management of Lanners Brothers Construction in January of 2025. As of January 2026, we will no longer be managing Lanners Brothers.
